Astrophyllite stone. Instead of picots with seed beads, I used 6 mm Swarovski crystals. For the strap, a spiral rope made with size 8 triangle beads.
And later this week,
Red glass cabochon. This one has the seed bead picots. It is hanging off of a spiral rope made with size 8 hex beads.
I think I need some better shots.
It's one of those weekends when I need to remember to stop and breathe and relax. I don't know how to relax. Saturday was a go-go-go day. I tried to take it a little easier today. But I need to stop and relax before I drive myself into the grave.

These are stunning! I like what the crystals add to the piece.
The gemstones are so adorable. You can be happy that you have such a wide range to choose from over there. I am trying to bead around a cabochon currently, too. ;)
And yes, I guess you need to relax!!! Seems like that when one reads your blog ... :-P
