Daisy topiary

The daisy topiary. It's about half done. A quick count resulted in 18 (or was it 19?) daisies on there so far. I would guess I'll need about 3 dozen daisies to completely cover it. And then I need some ground cover... Posted by Hello
In other works...I'm not allowed to buy except for curtain related things (like wooden dowels and L brackets) until my curtains are up and hanging. 1 curtain is ready to be hung. The other two - I'm still sewing on the plastic rings for the string to pass through...which reminds me, I need to buy string as well. But I definitely think a couple of hours to finish sewing the plastic rings on and then I can hang them up. And I"ll take a picture.

Pictures...soon

A most productive weekend. I ran a 5K in 38 minutes, then proceeded to walk another couple of miles later that day. Hit the sale at Knit Happens where I bought 5 balls of Katia Venecia on Saturday at 40% off and went back on Sunday and bought the remaining 4 balls. I have an idea for a flared and flowy tank top...let's see how I do with it. I've jumped off the cliff and am working on patterns in my head! Painted the window trim in my room. Curtains...just need to sew on the beaded fringe and the plastic rings and then I can work on putting them up. And I cooked enough to feed a small army, or myself for a couple of weeks.
I need to put up some pictures....of the xback tank that I finished, or this new yarn that I bought.

Another weekend, another project

I finally finished the bells for the bells of ireland. I just need to assemble.
I also cut the fabric for my curtains. Little problem. I still need to patch the wood and repaint the window trim...hmmm...

Fiber

Speed test from the fiber install. Fast internet. I like it!
Tonight, I found myself getting the hang of writing html while integrating javascript and php and learning to differentiate between server side and client side programming. Once you can separate the two sides, the world opens up to you. The result is http://www.beadedflowersdb.com/testShowFlower.html and from here, I'll need to work on the forms and then the db will be popping up new windows.
I need to stop now. Losing feeling in my right hand. Posted by Hello

Fiber and a finished tank!

fiber, as in Verizon Fios and my fiber optic install. Whoo hoo! I'm back online. Now I play with the fiber connection since lots of people are curious to see how it is as they await their neighborhood hook ups.
While waiting for the install to finish, I finished sewing in the ends of the Ribbon X Back Tank.
Still wrist issues so I've been playing around with the database and my own webpage. Should be seeing some results by the end of the the weekend.

A finished Rosebud picture!

Finally, a picture with a finished Rosebud! I'm up in Philadelphia this weekend and I'm "borrowing" the internet of a neighbor of Reshma's. No knitting or beading for me. She yells at me if I do. So instead, I'm working on my future website's gallery.
The daisy topiary is coming along. I've got a waterlily made but no leaves. It was a little smaller than I'd anticipated. 20 more bells to go on the Bells of Ireland. It's coming along. Posted by Hello
