Not only was the foot long, he likes a long cuff...I cast on last Wednesday and finished this up last night. I basically made myself sit and knit mindlessly in front of the tv when I was home. I'm glad I got it done. He leaves tomorrow.
And now I continue on with the Swallowtail Shawl and am making good progress.

Wow, fast knitting! Congrats! I'm making a pair for Chris's dad, long foot but short cuff (I don't think I have enough yarn for even that and will have to do the toe in another color). I can't wait to see your Swallowtail.
