The joys of being a designer

I know I haven't really done much in the way of designing lately, or even beading. I've been too busy knitting socks!

I received an email a couple of days ago and when I opened it, I found these pictures from K. Ward:

It's my calla lily pattern!

I love getting emails like this! I love what she has done with the flowers and the shading. It looks like she even adapted some leaves to go with the flowers. The bouquet is put together so well that if you didn't know any better, you'd think they were real. There was a certain sense of artistry in the making of this piece. See why it put a smile on my face?

Wow! Awesome. I have only made one of your calla flowers and it is really a great pattern. Would love to make a bouquet like this but currently I am too busy with other things.
